International Association of Dangerous Goods and Containers (IDGCA) is pleased to announce about XI conference “Multimodal transportation of dangerous goods”.
       The conferences of IDGCA are annual meetings of the Russian business, members of the Russian government and representatives of international organizations (UNECE, IMO, UNCTAD, etc.). The 11th conference is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Association of Dangerous Goods and Containers.

        Purpose of the conference:
       The conference aims, firstly, to create open dialogue between representatives of the Russian business and the government and, secondly, to professionally assess implementation and application of international conventions, norms and rules effective at the present time as well as legislative acts which regulate the activities related to transportation of the goods (including dangerous goods) and containers.

       • distinctive features of multimodal transportations of dangerous goods and containers;
       • principal changes of international convention on safe containers (KBK-72) and its harmonized interpretations;
       • requirements to transportation, stowage and handling of dangerous goods in ports;
       • state functions of Rostekhnadzor on carrying out of supervision over transportation of dangerous goods and issuance of Permissions for use of tank containers and other transport equipment;
       • declaring of dangerous goods at carrying out of maritime transportations;
       • problems of harmonization of national legislations in the field of transportation of dangerous goods and containers with international Conventions, agreements, norms and standards;
       • state functions of Rostransnadzor in the sphere of control over fulfillment of international Conventions and agreements.
